Dr. Joseph Leung, a Polymer Chemist specializing in R&D of PEG, is
a graduate of of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University where he obtained his B.Sc. degree in Chemical Technology in 1999.
He was conferred Ph.D. at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2007 for his research in Polymer Science.
His interests include chemical modification of polymers, synthesis and characterization of functional polymeric microspheres,
and "smart" nanogel particles.
Dr. Leung manages and is involved in establishing GMP-compliant manufacturing unit at the Hong Kong Science Park in Tai Po. He has systematically finalized BCT¡¦s GMP document system with technical documents and is compliance with GMP requirements. He has also developed a patentable technology for the chemical synthesis of the GMP-compliant and USP-grade modified Polyethylene Glycol (PEG).
